Very weird receded hairline, hair transplant a possibility?

Since birth, I've had a really strange hairline. On one side it's completely normal, but on the other, there's a patch where I just don't have any hair. It's the part just to the right of the front-centre of my hair and it looks just like a receded hairline - but only on one side. So basically it makes my hair look really unsymmetrical and difficult to style. Do you think a hair transplant could fix this? I've tried cutting it short and growing it long and it's still the same. How much would something like this cost?Very weird receded hairline, hair transplant a possibility?
Hair Restoration generally costs between $4000 and $5000 but can get as expensive as $12000 depending on the doctor, and how much you are getting to restored. The website I found mentioned that grafts cost between 3-10 but the number of hairs a doctor puts in per graft can very so it suggested seeing a doctor and asking him/her about it. If I was doing hair restoration I would see a few different doctors and weigh the pros/cons of each one to make your best decision. Who knows you may be able to mention the different prices to each doctor to see if you can get your favorite to lower his/her price!

Hairstles for receding hairlines?

OK I'm a 22 year old dude who's hair is receding. I've got a pretty good widow's peak going.

Can anyone suggest any good hairstyles that will go well with a receding hairline?

I was thinking of getting my hair cut like Matt Damon's in these pictures. I think they would complement a receding hairline well. BTW what is his hairstyle called?

If you have a receding hair line go bald.Hairstles for receding hairlines?
The best advice that I can give you for a receding hairline is to definitely NOT try to wear it long.

If you want to go with the haircut in the pictures, tell them you want a modified caesar that sticks up in the front. Tell them to do a 2-3 fade up the sides, and finger-length or just longer on the top.

If you want the top to look kinda ';choppy'; , tell them to texture with a razor in the top
I have receding hairline too. Usually i will wear my fringe to cover the ';emptiness';. But long fringe will usually be difficult to manage so short and untexturize fringe will be good.

Guy's with a receding hairline please answer?

I'm 20 and my hairline is receding, i was wondering if your hairline receded when you were younger and if it ever stopped for a period of time or is it progressive and just keeps receding until your bald? any answers are appreciated thanks.Guy's with a receding hairline please answer?
My hairline is receding. My mom's brothers all began losing their hair at around my age, some later. I guess I've inherited that. Theres a shampoo called Nioxin that I'm using. It's pretty expensive $17 for the bottle, and it just takes time. It stops hair from falling. Usually receding hairlines stay until you are bald.

Why don't balding faith healers sleep with their healing hand on their receding hairlines?

Seems like it would work. You have that one Benny Hinn guy, who started out with what I would have called the worst comb over of the millenia. Now I think he has some sort of persian wool hair plugs. But doesn't it make sense if you could heal, and fix stuff with a touch of your hand, wouldn't you invest some hand time in stopping the retreat of your youthful quaf? Why don't balding faith healers sleep with their healing hand on their receding hairlines?
A faith healer should live forever... Shouldn't they? Why don't balding faith healers sleep with their healing hand on their receding hairlines?
Classic
Because getting old and losing your hair is not a ';sickness';, it is a natural process. It's on par with going gray and getting wrinkles.
Baldness isn't really an affliction. For them to do so would be an act of vanity, and thus they would probably not be worthy of any magical powers.
';Healing'; and 'fixing baldness' are not in the same league!

Bad backs, cancers, etc, affect your physical well-being.

If you allow baldness to affect you 'mentally' - it's not really the same.

Baldness is part of aging - 'G-d' in almost all religions only promises eternal youth in the 'Afterlife'!

And! 'G-d' gives the ';gift'; to use on others - usually as a means of getting them to realise how great 'G-d' is and ';repent'; and become a ';believer';!

Anyway, using the gift for oneself is rare - trying to use it for 'spiritual cosmetic surgery' would be a definite ';no-no';!
That is a very good question.
Because they are no different than any other person, they are false prophets and teachers. They cannot cure anyone of anything, only God can do that. Otherwise, yeah I think they would feel obligated to heal the whole world.
because god loves a comb-over.
Yeah, and why don't psychics always win the lottery?
Maybe it doesn't bother them. Maybe they don't judge. Maybe you should listen.
What are you talking about??? Look at your face!
I read up on it the other day, They believe that sleeping with their healing hand on their receding hairlines would bring demons to their scalps.
First of all, not all faith healers are of the Christian faith and secondly something that may seem important to one; like having a good head of hair, may not be important to another.

In the Christian faith, it is not the man (the vessel) that decides whom to heal and what to heal, it is the Holy Spirit.
the sick needs healing,.. receding hairline doesn't hurt one bit,.. it doesn't bother him, why would it bother you?

but i do think you need some healing, say these words,

';Lord, i am not worthy to receive You, but only say my name, and i shall be healed,...';

remember it is His gift,..

God bless,.. :-)

Receding hairlines?

Im 20yrs old and I've got a receding hairline and slight baldness. I'm not that bothered about it as its less hair to cut and wash.

But why do some men hate the fact that they are going bald and/or getting receding hairlines?Receding hairlines?
because balding is a sign of aging. I'm not going to fight it when I go bald.Receding hairlines?
because that means that in the future they will have no choice whether to be bald or not..

some people think that it makes them unattractive.. but some women like when some men shave their head bald..
they want to be able to choose to be bald or not.
We live in an outward appearance society. Nobody cares about our inside self - only how we look on the outside. Sad, but true.
My hairline started to recede and I got Nioxin products fast...it stopped. Saw Palmetto helps block DHT also. Having hair is important to self esteem...unless you are comfortable without it. I would not be.

My husband was balding when I met him when he was in his late 20's and now he is just about completely bald (41). I find him irrestible sexy whether he had alot of hair or has a little hair. I told him if he ever did the comb over thing I would leave (just kidding).Receding hairlines?
i have my hair like that too. its so annoying. i hate it as i could never do a pony tail

I never did a pony tail in my whole life, and i really want to. My i dont have much hair on the sidelines, and makes me look like a man when i put my hair up.
it means that they are getting older.

    thats why they hate it.

and because they think that women wont find them AS attractive as they use to.
Because girls like to run their fingers in their man's hair! Jk. I think that affects their self-esteem and makes them feel that they're less attractive that way. I admit that I'd never want to lose my hair, even though I have a lot of hair and could probably afford to lose some (takes 2 hours to dry)!
I'm 40 yrs old, and have not lost one hair yet.

I bet you were one of those 15 yr olds who could shave. You guys made fun of guys like me who didn't shave until their 20s.

    Payback's a mother, isn't it?
